A Snapshot of Your Day

Working within the Commercial Sales Team, you will assist the department with providing commercial sales support in developing and negotiating contracts within GSO SGT. You will help to support and improve the customer experience, both internally and externally, across all service lines for Small projects whilst securing profitable contracts with a high commercial quality standard.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to identify and harness sales opportunities and improve the route to market.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in managing interfaces regarding commercial sales activities.
  • Assist in commercially leading sales opportunities from the bid phase through to handover to Project Management.
  • Support the Sales Manager in pricing strategies and defining an optimal business model and contract structure.
  • Co-ordinate all commercial aspects of project acquisition management, including contracts, risk and opportunities, product calculation tools, taxation, insurance, contract text, currency exchange, financial instruments (letters of credit/bank guarantees), financing, and financial risk.
  • Support digitalisation efforts to streamline sales processes and enhance data management.
  • Responsible for the commercial part of firm bids and updates during the sales and negotiation phase.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines (RIC, DLA adherence, LoA controls, FRG, NCM, etc.) within the Sales organization.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • 1-3 years of experience in financing, controlling, sales support, bid management, project management or product costing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of commercial sales processes and contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining high-quality and accurate work.
