As part of our highly motivated and international project team, you would work on HVDC transmission, and FACTS projects, helping us to take big steps together towards decarbonization and stability of the high-voltage grid.  Working with a variety of clients, such as developers or transmission system operators, in different countries, you will be able to expand your expertise and intercultural skills and make an important contribution to the energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will be responsible for performing Electrical Studies such as Short Circuit, Load Flow, Voltage Drop, Motor Starting, Arc Flash, Protection relay settings and coordinations.
• Knowledge of Auxiliary Equipments within the Substation or Plant such as Transformers, Switchgears, Motor Control Centers, Battery, Chargers, UPS, Panelboards, Diesel Generators etc.
• Develop engineering specifications, perform technical bid evaluations and perform the vendor drawing reviews for the assigned Auxiliary Equipments.
• Work in close cooperation and communication with the senior engineers, project engineering manager and general project management as well as with other relevant stakeholders (e.g., your line manager)
• Managing and monitoring of our internal and external suppliers including handling of the electrical, I&C and related layout interfaces
• Implementation, steering and control of the electrical design process with focus on related concepts, technical specification preparation and BoQs

What You Bring

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related fields.
• +8 years’ experience managing electrical engineering equipment for HVDC, Substation, Power Generation, or Hydrogen projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of Electrical Power Systems Studies, Motor Control Centers, MV and LV Switchgears, Transformers, Converters, Rectifiers, Single-Line and Three-Line Diagrams, etc.
• Advanced experience in the execution of solution projects, including proposal and execution phases, as well as experience in project management and/or managing intercultural teams.
• Advanced English language skills, with proactive communication and good coordination skills; experience in intercultural collaboration and cooperation with international teams, clients, consortium partners, and suppliers is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEEE/NEC Codes and Standards is highly preferred; knowledge of electrical software such as ETAP and AutoCAD is also highly preferred.
