A Snapshot of Your Day

The Assistant Project Manager and Logistics Expeditor is responsible for tracking orders for our Pole-top transformer product portfolio for customers within the United States. Coordination will include regular meetings with multiple factory shipping points internationally, managing and updating tracking sheets about order status, communicating with sales and customers regarding status or issues, procuring logistics services for local handling and delivery and working with the finance team to close out any orders. Responsibilities include change order management with updated costs to customers, coordinating logistics and tracking damages, deliveries, and warranty items on the orders. Additionally, this position will be responsible to track and complete the execution of existing orders for Bushings. This entails tracking delivery to customer and coordinating the close out of the order.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Activities include customer communication on delivery schedule, order status and updates as needed regarding orders.
  • Supporting factory project managers with ensuring proper delivery arrangements are made and orders are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to close out invoices and orders and provide updated purchase orders from customers.
  • Participate and if needed, lead discussions with customers and factories on order status and improvements as needed.

What You Bring

  • Position requires at least 6 years of experience in order tracking, scheduling, communication, execution, coordination, administration, and documentation, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining project cost control.
  • Good organizational skills to respond to multiple inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to work well in teams interacting routinely with finance, factories, and sales.
  • Experience with Electrical substation equipment a plus.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
