A snapshot of your day:

As part of the Procurement / Supply Chain team, the Junior Buyer (apprenticeship) supports project and tender buyers in their daily activities. You will contribute to supplier consultations, offer analysis, and procurement administration in an international and industrial environment.

This role offers a progressive learning experience, allowing you to develop your skills in project procurement with increasing autonomy under the guidance of experienced buyers.


How you’ll make an impact

Support buyers during tender preparation and project kick-off phases
Understand procurement scopes, technical requirements, and project timelines
Contribute to the development of procurement strategies under supervision
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) using standard tools and templates
Identify and contact potential suppliers based on existing panels
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely submission of quotations
Analyze supplier offers (price, lead time, compliance) and build comparison tables
Support cost and risk analysis with the responsible buyer
Prepare summaries and documentation for internal decision-making processes
Assist in collecting and verifying supplier documentation (NDA, compliance, contracts)
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure proper documentation tracking
Support administrative follow-up of purchasing files
Identify supplier risks (delays, non-conformities, capacity issues) and escalate when needed
Contribute to simple mitigation actions under supervision
Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes, tools, and guidelines


What you bring

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering with an interest in purchasing
You have a strong interest in industrial environments and project-based work
You demonstrate good analytical skills and are comfortable using Excel
You are structured, organized, and detail-oriented
You have a proactive mindset and a service-oriented approach
You are able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
No prior experience in procurement is required — motivation and willingness to learn are key
