A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will lead the Advanced Business Sales Team focused on Compressor Modernizations and Upgrades, engaging with clients to negotiate contracts and develop effective selling strategies. You will collaborate with the Compressor Product Line Sales and Marketing teams to drive regional initiatives and achieve Maintenance and Upgrades (M&U) business growth. Your responsibilities include setting individual bookings targets, managing and mentoring the sales team, and maintaining accurate territory bookings forecasts using Salesforce.com. This position offers an exciting opportunity to foster innovation and drive business growth within a collaborative team environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the Advanced Business Sales Team responsible for developing Compressor Modernizations and Upgrades – including both Turbo Compressor and Reciprocating Compressor Solutions. Providing support for selling strategy and client negotiations as needed.
- Working with Compressor Product Line (TCP and RCE) Sales and Marketing teams to develop regional initiatives to grow and develop the M&U business. Maintains and reports on progress to achieve agreed upon actions.
- Working with the Regional Sales Directors and their Client Manager Teams to provide Advanced Business Support to the selling team for Compressor M&U opportunities
- Achieving the Regional Targets for the Compressor M&U Order Intake for the Annual Budget through Business Planning and establishing individual Bookings Targets for the Compressor M&U selling team.
- Managing the Advanced Business Compressor team of Project Development Managers and Regional Product Engineers and maintaining an active and up-to-date territory bookings forecast through selling team’s use of Salesforce.com and assessment of sales funnel
- Leading the Regional Product Line Councils for the Compressor Product lines to drive alignment and focus on the Strategic Master Growth Initiatives
What You Bring
- Engineering Degree – Mechanical, Electrical, or similarly related field or qualified by experience
- 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas and or Power Generation Industries with strong industrial rotating equipment knowledge including compressors and control systems. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
- Leadership & people management experience required along with strong client facing skills
- Experience with sales territories, target setting along with selling strategy and coaching sales teams a must
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel as needed
