A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and user‑friendly work instructions for assembly, installation, and commissioning activities—primarily focused on the tower segment. Your day involves collaborating closely with engineers and international teams, reviewing safety‑critical documentation, and ensuring preventive safety‑in-design and compliance requirements are met. You will also facilitate risk assessments and ensure that all identified risks are accurately reflected in the documents you produce.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop, update, and maintain work instructions and checklists aligned with engineering design, onsite practices, and project needs.
  • Ensure all work instructions meet preventive safety-in-design principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate and participate in risk assessments to ensure risks are captured and integrated into documentation.
  • Work closely with engineers on development and execution projects to define and update standard installation processes for new turbines.
  • Manage and maintain a structured database of standard baseline documentation for consistent use across projects.
  • Coordinate documentation workstreams across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Review documents to ensure adherence to quality standards, internal management systems, and templates.
  • Create user-friendly, safe, and easy-to-follow content suitable for field technicians.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous enhancement of templates, processes, and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate frequently with teams in Denmark and across other global functions.


What You Bring

  • Technical education with strong knowledge and experience in technical writing with atleast 6 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in DITA/XML-based authoring systems (e.g., Arbortext Editor, Oxygen, XMetal).
  • Strong understanding of DITA best practices and topic‑based authoring.
  • Experience with vector-based illustration tools and the ability to work with technical graphics.
  • Prior experience with content management systems.
  • Solid skills in Adobe tools such as Photoshop and Acrobat Pro.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams.
  • Proactive, structured, and results-oriented approach to managing assignments.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and thrive in a global work environment.
