We are looking for a hands-on data engineer with a strong interest in AI, advanced analytics, and automation. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy experimenting and shipping working solutions, not just designing concepts or creating slideware. You will work directly on production-grade analytics, AI and automated controls that support real tax processes, audits, and compliance requirements in a collaborative, international environment.

We are open to different seniority levels: from motivated early-career engineers to experienced professionals. What matters most is hands-on capability, curiosity, and a builder mindset.

How You’ll Make an Impact

•         Develop parameter-driven, repeatable, and explainable controls using Alteryx and similar solutions. Define extraction logic, reconciliation concepts, and validation rules to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax data.
•         Build advanced analytics for reconciliation and completeness checks, validation and anomaly detection, data quality monitoring. Design and optimize analytical datasets using SAP HANA (SQL / CDS views).
•         Build AI use cases, including RAG, agent-based and agentic AI workflows, AI-assisted automation, hybrid AI patterns combining deterministic rules with AI outputs. Ensure responsible AI adoption, explain ability, auditability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
•         Lead discovery sessions with tax stakeholders to understand processes, transaction flows, and compliance requirements.
•         Act as an AI knowledge multiplier: stay current on emerging technologies and equip the tax team through targeted training and enablement.

What You Bring

•         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems, or a related field.
•         Hands-on experience in data engineering, advanced analytics, and automation, with a strong focus on building real, working solutions.
•          Solid practical skills in Python and SQL; experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or comparable analytics tools is highly desirable.
•         Experience with agentic AI systems, including multi‑agent coordination, tool usage, and patterns such as A2A / MCP, is an advantage.
•         Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB, and SAP AI offerings is beneficial; familiarity with enterprise or cloud platforms such as SAP BTP, Azure, or AWS is a plus.
•         A genuine passion for innovation and emerging AI technologies, with curiosity to experiment and learn.
•          Interest in tax, finance, governance, compliance, or audit-related use cases, and in applying technology to regulated domains.
•          Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
