How will your day be?

The position is for work on disassembly and assembly of large gas turbines, exceeding 100 MW. Ninety percent of the time is required for travel to maintenance projects at power plants internationally. Daily activities include mechanical disassembly and assembly, sizing and measuring clearances of gas turbine components, and crane maneuvering, always working to the company's EHS and quality standards. Specialization in different turbine models is possible over time.

 

How You Will Stand Out

  • Perform mechanical activities (disassembly and assembly) on gas turbine components in accordance with company field procedures
  • Perform maneuvers of turbine components using cranes.
  • Use and handling of hydraulic, pneumatic, lifting, etc. equipment. In addition, handling of precision tools.
  • Implement EHS best practices for various activities in turbine field service projects.
  • Complete the quality documentation of the activities carried out (data sheets)
  • Conduct risk analysis prior to carrying out activities. Report the status of activities or any situation to your supervisor during the shift.
   

What You Contribute

  • Technical degree in mechanics or completed high school
  • +3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of gas turbines, steam turbines, and/or electric generators in thermoelectric plants
  • Extensive knowledge in maneuvering turbine components with cranes.
  • Experience with EHS best practices in turbine field service projects, in addition to teamwork disposition
  • Solid knowledge of the use and handling of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, precision, and oxyacetylene tools, as well as forklift operation.
  • Willingness to travel on international assignments 90% of the time. Intermediate English proficiency (reading and speaking).
