A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
As the primary point of contact for Siemens Energy’s critical Service Program customers, the Long-Term Program (LTP) Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of complex service agreements across the U.S. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, capable of advising customers on solutions that improve plant performance, reliability, and safety. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with field teams, internal departments, and the Orlando headquarters to plan, schedule, and implement outages while promoting a zero-harm culture!
In addition to managing long-term service contracts, the LTP Project Manager identifies upgrade opportunities and drives additional scope sales, including Steam Turbine, Generator, and Digital solutions. The role also includes financial oversight of contracts, with quarterly reporting to leadership. As the energy sector transitions, the LTP Project Manager plays a key role in decarbonization efforts by supporting fuel flexibility, promoting hydrogen integration, and recommending efficiency-enhancing upgrades that reduce emissions and improve responsiveness to grid demand!
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead outage planning, scheduling, and execution with internal teams and customers, ensuring smooth operations and contract compliance.
- Provide technical support and operational insight to customers, helping to tackle plant issues while maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
- Manage long-term service contract financials, track performance metrics, and report status to internal partners on a quarterly basis.
- Identify and drive additional sales opportunities by offering upgrades and expanded scope in areas such as Steam Turbine, Generator, and Digital solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver flexibility solutions that reduce startup/shutdown fuel consumption and improve plant responsiveness.
- Support customer decarbonization goals by promoting gas turbine conversion to hydrogen blends and recommending software/hardware enhancements to reduce emissions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of combined project management and field service experience in Power Generation is required.
- Build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships by exemplifying accountability, optimism, communication, trust, and flexibility.
- Strengthen leadership and interpersonal skills by leading a cross-functional platform team and improving processes for effective learning, problem-solving, and execution.
- Develop commercial acumen through the successful management and implementation of multiple long-term service program contracts with external customers.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
