Siemens Energy d.o.o. Serbia is looking for a skilled Senior mechanical engineer to join us in Belgrade. We are a company that works on projects in Europe and worldwide. Our services include FEED design and project delivery from the earliest basic level to fully operational systems (includes commissioning and start up). You will join the team for designing of mechanical systems, e.g. plant layout, piping system, rotation equipment systems (compressors, turbines, drives), in greenfield and brownfield projects.

How you'll make an impact:

• Responsible for evaluation and commenting of customer specifications, customers questionnaire, deviations, compilation of proposal documents, cost calculations, and EPC contract completion
• Responsible to verify in detail BoQs and technical requirements from tender documentation
• Ensure the estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with good estimating practice
• Ensure Subcontractor responses are complete & tabulated accurately on a Bid Evaluation spreadsheet
• Proactively work with the technical preparation group to ensure commercial bid evaluations are completed in a timely manner
• Lead the preparation of the time schedule, quality and costs for the mechanical scope of works
• Responsible for development and review of FEED, basic and detailed mechanical design (developed by partner companies)
• Prepare technical specifications and inquiry documentation and required documentation during design and construction process
• Participate in engineering and optimization of mechanical design, and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities

What you bring

• University degree, Master Academic Studies program, preferable in the field of Process Engineering or Thermal Power Engineering
• Proven experience within mechanical design of at least 10 years
• Member of Serbian chamber of engineers with licence type 330, 430, or equivalent
• Practical knowledge of softwares like Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Plant 3D, Piping stress calculation software Caesar II, or similar
• Experience in Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Power generation or chemical industry projects
• Customer focused individual with capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to a dynamic environment
• Intercultural sensitivity, in order to work for/in an international team
• Self-motivation with high energy drive and business sense
• Capability of multitasking, excellent communication skills, and ability to ensure high-quality work process
• You are proficient in English
• You strive to develop yourself and others to achieve set goals!
