A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Specialist in Control of Hazardous Energies for Onshore Execution at Siemens Gamesa, your day will involve playing a significant role in aligning our Onshore Construction and Onshore Service activities under a unified organizational and operational setup. You will focus on improving procedures, assessments, and implementation of control of hazardous energies for field technicians in the global Onshore organization. Your role will also involve driving cooperation between our Offshore and Onshore Business Units to ensure effective knowledge sharing.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Work with regional experts and project teams to manage and evolve the development, delivery, and global roll-out of our Safe System of Work (SSoW).
• Facilitate coordination and alignment between operational and technical stakeholders to promote global continuity of policy, competencies, and practices.
• Support standardization of procedures related to hazardous energies within onshore operations.
• Maintain and develop strategies for controlling hazardous energies.
• Conduct reviews of processes, procedures, and safe systems of work for subcontractors employed by SGRE.
• Develop continuity and alignment on best practices globally.
• Manage detailed technical investigations into electrical-related safety issues as reported via project teams and the Enablon or current company EHS reporting tool.

What You Bring

• Clear and quantifiable experience in similar senior roles within industrial environments, with a recognized and relevant electrical education.
• Pragmatic and results-driven approach, able to prioritize safety and business results.
• Strong expert knowledge of electrical systems and SSoW designed to mitigate hazards associated with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical tasks.
• Ability to influence and lead other parts of the organization towards a common goal through active and constructive stakeholder management.
