Aligning the optimal use of the productive capacity of a factory in the midst of a changing environment in the supply chain and with a focus on meeting the commitments with our customer is one of the most important challenges of companies at this time, leading this routine surrounded by experts from different areas (Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Execution, among others) will allow developing strategic and operational activities that contribute to the success of the business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Production Capacity Planning work focuses on measuring, forecasting and adjusting manufacturing plant capacity, including:

-Lead and manage short and long term adjustments on plant capacity to ensure alignment with production schedules, materials management, through the Sales & Operations process (Using factory simulation tools, identifying improvement potentials in process cycle times).

-Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to understand current and future capacity requirements.

(Example: Customer change control, material lead time control, product demand change control).

What You Bring 

• - Industrial, mechanical, electrical or similar engineer with experience in the low volume high mix industry, preferably in power transformer manufacturing, experience of more than 5 years.
• - Experience in production planning and factory capacity management, with emphasis in Sales & Operations.
• - Strong leadership skills, agility and adaptability, strategic thinking and good communication skills.

About the Team

As a professional Manufacturing Production Capacity Planning specialist, you will report to the Planning Coordinator of the power transformer factory.
