A Snapshot of Your Day

 

As part of the Service team for Northwest Europe, you play a key role in supporting and optimizing SAP processes related to Service Contracts, Projects, and Orders, implementing Agora cross Europe leveraging your in-depth knowledge of SAP and strong business understanding. Your expertise also includes HR modules in SAP, allowing you to contribute across interconnected processes.

This role offers broad exposure and close collaboration with regional teams. You start each day ready to contribute—whether aligning with stakeholders, solving system-related challenges, or identifying opportunities for improvement. With a focus on digitalization and efficiency, your work has a visible impact on operations, enabling better decisions and more agile processes across the organization.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

   
  • Serve as the Expert Key User for SAP across Northwest Europe, acting as the main point of contact for system-related topics and enhancements.
  • Support and train the organization on SAP finance processes to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient system usage.
  • Manage and support smaller-scale finance projects as a trusted Finance Partner, driving value through operational insight.
  • Prepare mandatory ICFR/SOA documentation at project level and ensure execution of monthly internal control requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal hedging guidelines, supporting implementation and risk compliance in financial operations.
  • Coordinate and finalize cross-border agreements in alignment with tax laws and internal regulations.
  • Maintain strict compliance with finance policies, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions and regions to ensure alignment and continuous process improvement.
  • Contribute to digitalization efforts by enhancing SAP utilization and supporting automation where applicable.
   

What You Bring

 
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with SAP, with a focus on Services
  • SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Service business operations and related process frameworks is a plus
  • Familiarity with Siemens Energy’s organizational structure or similar corporate environments.
  • Good knowledge of internal control standards, including SOA and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; presentation skills are an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude and the ability to manage information from various sources.
  • Business-fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, depending on business needs.
