As a Resident Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you have a pivotal role in this evolution, collaborating with a range of teams and clients to ensure smooth project realization.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Collaborate with internal and external resources to support the effective planning and completion of projects. This entails communicating with clients to comprehend their goals and needs for delivering relevant technical suggestions.
• Accountable for tracking achievements and adherence to budgets and schedules, taking steps to minimize non-conformance costs and crafting and upholding detailed project documentation.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and project collaborators from both within and outside the organization.
• Perform ongoing risk management during projects to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g., Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).
• The Resident Project Manager is required to work from the client's site in Lagos.
• Responsible for material, job & outage planning activities related to the scope of the contract.
• Support the Execution Team in management of spares, tools, and consumables for routine, planned, corrective work and unplanned outages.
• Understand Company process for outage planning and drive compliance with outage planning achievements.

What You Bring 

• 3-5 years of Project Management experience with PMP or Prince2 certification required.
• Strong business judgment for handling customer concerns and goal-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of mechanics and rotating machinery (e.g., gas and steam turbines, compressors) is advantageous.
• Proficient in rotating equipment hardware, CMMS (SAP), inventory management, and Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project and Primavera.
• Proficiency in gas turbine compressor package operation and advancement, with skill in overseeing varied teams and handling numerous duties.
