A Snapshot of Your Day

Reporting into Regional Head of HR Services – Middle East & Africa, this is a pilot role that is being rolled out in the region as part of the long-term goals of People Systems & Services Centre Of Competence to streamline Operational Analytics, Administrative Governance and Project Management capabilities. This role will ensure that data is extracted, analyzed and presented from all HR/People Systems, create a data centric governance model which includes but is not limited to track, review and present all Vendor Management services including Purchase Orders & Invoices, Performance critical metrics, Project readiness and performances etc. This role is expected to create a vibrant Reporting & Governance platform which moves beyond Descriptive analysis and stretches it to Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics.

You may take a role in HR transformation initiatives within your region, reviewing and implementing harmonized and standard processes, working closely with counterparts in Payroll, Local HR, HR systems and with external vendors/customers. Additionally, you will be working closely with Local HRBPs ensuring an excellent operational delivery of diverse HR administrative tasks and be the initial contact for escalations (Local HRBP, GBS and other HR COCs).

How You’ll Make an Impact

HR Analytics (50%)

  • Create a roadmap for the Analytics & Governance vertical within MEA HR Services COC.
  • Design, develop, & maintain HR dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate HR data insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, HR COCs, and Business Leaders to determine the essential HR measurements and performance indicators tailored to their specific needs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement within the HR function.
  • Develop and recommend data-driven strategies to optimize HR programs and initiatives.
  • Translate complex data analysis into clear and concise reports and presentations for various partners.

HR Operation & Governance (30%)

  • Co-responsible for the strategic and operational excellence of HR Operations tower.
  • Support of other HR IT / Business Process initiatives, e.g. contributing regional or topic expertise and aspects, playing a key role in the roll-out in assigned countries.
  • Work closely and support in the service management of the business process outsourcing service providers, ensuring quality gates, whilst playing a key role on deficiency resolution.
  • Support HR Excellence in Process Documentation, Automation and Transformation.

Transformation & Project Management (20%)

  • Strategize/Structure/Lead Global Transformation projects with MEA impact.
  • Create Project Charter, RACI, Gap & Risk Analysis etc. to support ease of Operations.
  • Ensure Project Timelines are adhered to and status reports shared with Leadership.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience of at least 10 to 12 years in HR Analytics & Governance.
  • At least 5 to 6 years in HR Analytics with focus from Descriptive to Prescriptive reporting.
  • In depth understanding of Employee Life Cycle with focus on HR Operating Model.
  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of Workday Operations and Reporting.
  • Previous Experience in building a BI platform for Regional/Global Colleagues.
  • Exposure to Project Management or HR Transformation Projects is a must.
  • Clear understanding of Six Sigma basics in identifying Defects within processes.
  • Shown experience of managing or being involved in process improvement initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication skills with native and international colleagues.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Fact-based decision ability, self-directed with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize.
  • Self-motivated to drive initiatives through to completion as an individual contributor.
  • Understanding of basic HR tools viz - Workday HCM, ServiceNow, Avature etc. is required.
