A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Quality Manager (Projects), you are a key member of the project core team, responsible for ensuring that all customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements are understood and implemented throughout the project lifecycle. You proactively prevent issues, provide expert guidance to the Project Manager, and have the authority to intervene if quality risks arise. You foster collaboration across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, site operations, suppliers, and quality networks to ensure that delivered solutions meet our high standards of safety, performance, and compliance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Develop, maintain, and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), including assurance and control measures (reviews, inspections, tests, validations).
• Lead Quality Gates, milestone readiness checks, and quality-related risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with CE, ATEX, Pressure Vessel codes, and SE EHS principles.
• Review customer specifications for quality scope, identify risks/opportunities, and define project-specific QA deliverables.
• Contribute Lessons Learned into bids and support seamless handover into execution.
• Manage ITPs, CWPs, NCR handling, and CAPA coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely closure of non-conformances and transparency of NCC (Non Conformity Costs).
• Oversee supplier quality activities from qualification to surveillance and performance review.
• Act as the single point of contact for project quality matters towards customers, partners, certification bodies, and suppliers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring issues are resolved effectively and proactively.
• Facilitate RCA (5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D), drive Lessons Learned and promote continuous improvement activities.
• Deliver training sessions to enhance project teams’ quality competencies.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management within complex or highly regulated projects (energy, HV, EPC, heavy industry).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, NCR/CAPA, audits, and contractual quality.
- Experience working with cross‑functional and international project teams.
- Fluency in English (spoken & written).
- Ability and willingness to travel - 30%.
- Experience in Agile environments and/or PLM-driven processes.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is an advantage.
- Hands-on knowledge of QIS, SAP/ERP, PLM tools, and RCA methodologies.
