- Conduct research and develop innovative applications and tools for electric power generation, transmission, and control systems
- Create mathematical models in RMS or EMT for various transmission and generation system components (e.g., HVDC, FACTS, electrical machines, controllers) using industry-standard simulation tools such as PSS/E, PowerFactory, and PSCAD
- Design and implement automation and software tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of power system studies
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field at a university or college
- Strong academic performance with relevant knowledge and a keen interest in electrical AC/DC power systems and their control systems.Experience with power system simulation tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, and PSCAD
- Proficient in Python and capable of writing code effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Fluent in English
