Sobre a função
A Snapshot of Your Day
The day begins by reviewing the current supplier’s performance using a standardized and global approach, with a clear focus on the most critical suppliers. You also check on the progress of delivery recovery plans of the most critical components.
Later in the morning, you meet the Head of Commodity Strategy to highlight supplier performance issues and discuss mitigation measures or escalation needs. You provide a quick briefing to task forces on the status of critical components and receive information on changes in customer delivery requirements.
In the afternoon, you have a call with the leadership team of a critical supplier, such as the General Manager, and his direct reports, which performance is currently below the contractual agreed KPIs. Together with internal customers, current supply challenges are reviewed and impacts on the delivery schedules are reported.
The day concludes with the preparation of a status update for the next review with the segment leadership, covering priority issues across the blades and vanes supply chain and outlining plans for their resolution.
