Are you ready to the be the Financial Business Partner to our finance activities in our Gas Services Competence Center? In this senior level expertise position, your role will be vital in our dynamic team, focusing on forecasting, budgeting, and operational business management. But that's not all! You'll dive deep into understanding "the business" to provide invaluable insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions as member of the CC Management Team!

Your expertise will be key to monitoring financial performance, spotting areas for improvement, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and fostering communication across our organization, both locally and globally. Together, we'll enhance operational efficiency. It’s a plus if you have a passion for improving financial processes or automating reports.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Responsible manager for multiple cost center and managing their financial aspects
  • Strategic thinking and valuable member of the CC’s management with insights on improvement of the quality of our operations
  • Managing and developing your small team of finance colleagues
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare budget, forecasts and reports and conduct financial analysis to steer business decisions
  • Variance Analysis: Review, analyze, and comment on variances and provide insights and recommendations to support financial planning and decision-making
  • Ensure contracts are in place and are in line with compliance and financial regulations
  • Closing activities: Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported
  • Collaborate closely with various technical and commercial partners, both in local and global organizations
What You Bring
  • At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in business finance / financial management
  • Outstanding social- and communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills and SAP knowledge.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Hungarian and English
  • A willingness to learn about Business Intelligence Tools - Power BI, etc
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational and problem solving skills, and a proactive, growth mindset with a focus on solutions in a dynamic international environment.

The Budapest Gas Services Competence Center team has over 400 qualified engineers who offer services in Instrumentation & Control, electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as sales support.
Our competence and operational excellence are key drivers on our journey to the new era of energy.
