- Create budgetary and firm bids with bidding team, analyze tender requirements and manage risks in commercial areas, including currency risks, financial security, payment terms, insurance, export control, and compliance
- Structure bids considering customer and tax requirements, guiding regional colleagues and ensuring transparent calculations
- Manage and maintain sales calculation tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability while supporting project calculations
- Develop and implement efficient processes for using calculation tools in sales, updating them as needed in compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Train and support sales team members in using calculation tools for sales calculations
- Develop tools and processes in Commercial Bid Management to the next level
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or similar
- Long-term proven professional experience in commercial bid and sales management, preferably in complex cross-border projects, within the construction, engineering, energy sectors or comparable industry; alternatively long-term experience as Commercial Project Manager can be considered
- Experience in setting-up calculation tools and cross-border sales calculations
- Strong knowledge of Financial Controlling and Management Accounting (IFRS) and experience with ERP, finance systems, and digitalization tools (preferably SAP, Tableau, Alteryx).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with full business proficiency in English, and the ability to present results to management, proficiency in German is a plus
- Cross-functional and cross-organizational approach, ability to connect with people at all levels, and experienced to integrate different perspectives with a clear result-orientation, curiosity and openness to new ways of thinking and working as well as willingness to travel
