Imagine starting your day collaborating with a dynamic, global team of experts in electrical engineering and tool and software development. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working on our cutting-edge engineering tools, COMOS and ePLAN, and leading the change in I&C hardware standardization.
Your role will be pivotal in developing our ePLAN implementation for standards and project execution. This platform is going to be the backbone of our engineering efforts, enabling our project execution teams to work efficiently and effectively. You will be a key player in driving development initiatives, implementing new functionalities, and enhancing tool usability, all while providing crucial support to ongoing projects.
In the realm of I&C hardware standardization, you will design and maintain state-of-the-art I&C cabinets that set the standard for our projects. Your designs will adhere to the highest engineering standards and best practices, ensuring excellence in every project. You will collaborate with colleagues from project execution, manufacturing facilities worldwide, procurement, and sales, making your role truly global and impactful. Additionally, you will be a key player in transferring solutions from COMOS to ePLAN.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Tool Development (ePLAN Introduction and Implementation)
- Collaborate with a global team of experts to gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders
- Describe, plan, and implement innovative features in our ePLAN implementation
- Utilize an agile way of working to ensure efficient and effective development
- Document development processes and create comprehensive tool manuals
- Conduct rigorous testing of new features and provide rollout support
- Drive development initiatives to implement new functionalities and enhance tool usability
- Migrate solutions from COMOS to ePLAN, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency
I&C Hardware Design (Reference Designs for I&C Cabinets)
- Design and maintain state-of-the-art I&C cabinets, adhering to the highest engineering standards and best practices
- Provide crucial expert support to stakeholders for reference designs
- Engage with stakeholders to collect feature requests and feedback for improvement
- Implement and document reference designs for specific business cases
- Review and present solutions to stakeholders and partners
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs
- Screen international norms and regulations to ensure compliance
- Maintain and enhance the engineering tool landscape to support ongoing and future projects
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years in I&C engineering project execution
- At least 3 years of experience in I&C commissioning or in test facilities
- Proficiency with international engineering standards and norms
- Expertise in creating reference designs for I&C cabinets
- Hands-on experience with COMOS EI&C module
- Proficient in using ePLAN P8
- Familiarity with working in agile and international teams
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages and platforms is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel (5-10%)
