A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Systems Lead Engineer for Execution of Power Plant Projects you would start a typical day with the organization of tasks to support your international project. You will work with a distributed team to build the basis of the Transition towards Balanced Energy by crafting user-friendly and coordinated power plant machinery like Power Control Centers, Static Excitation Systems, Startup Frequency Converters, Protective Relaying Systems, and Low Voltage Power Distribution Systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Conducting electrical engineering initiatives in international projects focused on the digitalization of Gas and Steam Turbine Power Plants, using COMOS as the primary digitalization platform for the automated generation of single line diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and the digital creation of circuit manuals
  • Collaborating with suppliers on producing wiring drawings, single line diagrams, schematics, and data sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
  • Taking responsibility for defining component requirements and designing electrical auxiliaries for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Generators throughout project execution based on proposal documents, engineering standards and contract
  • Developing and managing cable and termination information using digitalization platforms such as COMOS and plant design software to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
  • Preparing and issuing equipment specifications and procurement documents to facilitate the acquisition of necessary components as well as participating in factory acceptance tests for electrical equipment, ensuring that all products meet the required standards and specifications before deployment
  • Conducting bid evaluations of vendors and engaging in technical discussions with vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience in the field of energy engineering
  • Basic knowledge of Gas and Steam Turbine Power Plants, and digitalization platforms such as COMOS and plant design software as well as basic experience in engineering and project execution for Electrical Systems
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Systems including LV/MV Switchgears, Battery Chargers, Cables and Cable Raceway Systems, Power Control Centers (PCCs, E-Houses), Generator and Transformer Protection, Synchronization, SEE (Static Excitation Systems), SFC (Starting Frequency Converters) and LV Transformers is an advantage
  • Creativity, teamwork skills, open personality
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% to engage with vendors, client offices, and project sites.
