A Snapshot of Your Day

Working closely with Internal Partners across the business, you’ll be responsible for finding the brightest early career talents and supporting them on their learning journey with Siemens Energy. Developing a strong pipeline for the vital green skills required to help society reach net zero, contributing to industry think tanks & policy makers on the workforce of the future.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead the early career lifecycle, from hiring through to development, pastoral support and qualification.
  • Selection & management of our external provider portfolio responsible for professional qualification delivery.
  • Handling the onboarding experience, including design & delivery of a group induction residential event.
  • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process for all entry level roles (apprentices, internships & graduates).
  • Coordinating and facilitating early career attraction events (careers fairs, skills camps, assessment etc.) driving applications to Siemens Energy as an employer of choice.
  • Being the first point of contact for Line Managers regarding entry level talent support
  • Expand our current offering - looking at areas such as graduate schemes, rotating placements and work experience.
  • Build strategic partnerships with leading organisations across the UK (e.g. The 5% Club, Apprentice Academy).

What You Bring
  • Experience of setting up & leading an early careers programme as an employer – apprenticeships, placements, graduate schemes, work experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the UK education & qualification landscape.
  • Experience working in or with training providers
  • Able to lead a variety of projects with multiple requirements, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Mentoring / indirect management of team members and learners.
  • Confident developing business strategy, with keen influencing and communications skills.
  • Excellent networking skills, managing a busy schedule of outreach activities.
  • Experience designing and delivering assessment centres for high volume early careers recruitment.
  • Pro-active, hard-working and outcome driven approach.
