A Snapshot of Your Day

You as a document controller are responsible within a project for the documentation handling, for the workflow, timeline and record keeping of electronic and hard copy documents and comply with contractual, legal and business regulations.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Understanding document control customer requirements and ensuring documents are compliant.

  • Supporting Project Managers by uploading documentation into customer systems

  • Supporting site set up of required drawings and providing Contract Drawing Lists, transmittals etc.

  • Supporting business improvement projects to improve efficiency and increase productivity.

  • Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, Engineering, procurement etc.

  • Identifying and numbering documents that come into the business.

  • Using an electronic document management system (Fabasoft Cloud) to index, store and retrieve a wide variety of document types.

  • Reviewing documents, checking they comply with regulations, creating revisions and archiving outdated versions.

  • Distributing documents to the relevant people, departments or organizations, and letting them know when they need to take action on a document as part of a process

  • Creating master document templates and forms, and training employees how to use them

  • Preparing and updating document control procedures for the company

  • Making sure that departments are following the correct procedures in the document flow process

  • Support the Operational Excellence team with the Quality Management System, ensuring documents are within validity.

  • General administration support to project teams, raising purchase order requests, support with the project management system and its continued development and implementation.

  • Support with the running of the office and continued maintenance and compliance through communication with the facility management team

  • Prepare Monthly Reports on the assigned work packages for internal and external reporting

  • Contribute to business success and satisfaction of the customer

  • Very good English language skills

  • Experience in Fabasoft cloud software

  • Knowledge in Team Center

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for result-oriented and creative development of our projects, initiative, results orientation and assertiveness, ability and willingness to learn
