As a Business Developer Manager at Siemens Energy, your mornings will involve collaborating with your team to define objectives and prioritize tasks. Through strategic discussions and brainstorming, you will uncover new areas for growth, nurture a robust sales pipeline, and foster potential opportunities. Throughout the day, you will engage with internal and external individuals, building reliable relationships with customers and working closely with colleagues across various European regions. Your efforts will play a key role in Siemens Energy's mission to redefine the energy sector, particularly by promoting decarbonization and balanced energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Match customer demands with the Siemens Energy portfolio and strategy in your region and identify leads.
- Tap new growth areas and develop a strong and mature sales opportunities.
- Work together with teams in Hub Europe and Business Areas to develop guides that help qualify leads for bidding.
- Identify local benefit elements and support the establishment of suitable business models.
- Establish close and trustful relations with your customers and craft conceptual solutions for them to position Siemens Energy as early as possible.
- Drive the qualification of leads and turn them into high potential opportunities, promoting transparency in our SE Sales Funnel and collecting leads in Salesforce.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of an organizational framework and contribute lessons learned from previous offers and projects.
What You Bring
- You are versatile, creative, agile, fast and will pro-actively get into the details and collaborate in a hands-on way.
- Expertise in Power-to-x projects or hydrogen business and deep understanding of European Energy landscape and decarbonization topics required. You have basic knowledge in process technology and solution business.
- You can showcase your competence as a conceptual problem solver.
- You can define tangible concepts and arguments, which try new things and feasibility of the solutions into account.
- You have a passion for renewables related energy markets.
- Proficient in English.
- Availability for business trips within Greece and South Europe to visit customers or colleagues.
