Are you passionate about decarbonizing the power generation and industrial sectors? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Professional to join our team. As a Business Development Professional, you will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy and driving revenue growth Grid Solutions for Eastern Europe Region. You will be responsible for conducting market research, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate new business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Monitoring industry trends and changes across Eastern Europe Region, conducting market research to identify potential new business opportunities across Eastern Europe, focusing on energy grid solutions and energy storage in Poland.
- Engage teams horizontally to build market strategy, developing cross-business opportunities, develop proposals and presentations for senior leadership (Head of Business Development for Eastern Europe, Business Area Sales, Head of EE Sub Region).
- Grow and maintain an active pipeline of projects with high forecasting accuracy in the CRM.
- Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within Siemens Energy portfolio.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and use this knowledge to inform business strategy.
What You Bring
- Degree in business or a related field is required, and a background in engineering or renewable energy is a plus.
- Min. 3 years of experience in energy industry, strong background in business development, sales execution or strategy development.
- Highly motivated to work for a game changing industry, independent and proactive, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to successfully build relationships with stakeholders, lead and coordinate a cross functional team, including product lines, legal, finance, marketing, and engineering.
An eye for business, sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills, and a consultative approach to managing sophisticated client relationships.
- Passionate about the energy, willing to make the difference and become a Siemens Energy face towards customers, generating best ever customer experience.
- Proficient in English and Polish, willing to travel domestically and within the region.
