A Snapshot of Your Day

 

Lead and perform complex Payments operations within the Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) end‑to‑end process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of payment runs while acting as a go‑to expert for the team.

Independently analyze and resolve complex payment issues, including high‑risk, high‑value, or cross‑country payment exceptions, and provide guidance to Analysts on root‑cause resolution.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders across including Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank, Master Data, Treasury, Human Resources and business stakeholders to resolve operational issues and continuously improve payment processes.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

 
  • Own execution and oversight of payment runs in SAP and banking platforms, including automated, manual, urgent, and exception payments across multiple entities and countries.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) for payment processes, bank formats, payment methods, and cut‑off calendars; support knowledge transfer, onboarding, and coaching within the Payments team.
  • Drive resolution of complex payment exceptions (failed, rejected, duplicate, returned), ensuring proper documentation, escalation, and control adherence
  • Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness in the Payments process (e.g., SoD compliance, approval governance, audit trails, bank connectivity controls) and actively support internal/external audits with high‑quality evidence.
  • Partner with Treasury and stakeholders to support cash management, liquidity planning, payment prioritization, and funding readiness, ensuring transparent and proactive communication.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and performance reporting initiatives (e.g., payment automation, bank harmonization, transition/stabilization, SOP updates) and support management with ad‑hoc analyses and risk/performance reporting.
 

What You Bring

 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Payments, P2P, Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations, preferably in a multi‑entity or shared services environment.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end payment processes, bank interfaces, payment methods, and internal control frameworks.
  • Very good SAP knowledge (FI, AP, Payment Programs); experience with banking platforms and payment interfaces is highly desirable.
  • Advanced MS‑Excel skills; experience with reporting or reconciliation tools is an advantage.
  • Experience with transitions, transformations, automation, or stabilization phases is considered beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to independently manage stakeholders, and business‑fluent English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training, workshops, or project activities, if required.
