Sales Trainee at Siemens Energy

  • Plans and executes sales targets and activities in a specified region for a unit's portfolio to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers and achieve defined commercial targets.
  • The ideal candidate will be busy with Sales activities and close communication (strategy alignment/clarification/follow-up) with PCC.
  • On the other hand, they will remain/develop relationships with the assigned account customers.
  • We are looking for someone with proven capability in delivering winning, complex project opportunities and who must be comfortable working at the Management Level (internal and external).
  • They will fully engage with the competitive marketplace and have sound commercial understanding, P&L, and risk management skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities while maintaining a solid understanding and implementation of internal governance procedures.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Plans sales volumes and potentials of all customers in the assigned region;
  • Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning;
  • Analyzes the specific market conditions and builds a sound market-related network of stakeholders;
  • Spots opportunities for local product and service portfolio solutions;
  • Prepares customer contact and builds and maintains a customer-focused network;
  • Prepares / coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with proposal mgmt / other involved professionals and management;
  • Coordinates the realization of assignments and may coordinate and contribute to setting up respective product developments, projects, or service programs.
  • Completes sales and revenue-related critical reporting.
  • Contributes to the development of After-Market business in the region.
  • May act as a point of contact to customers in commercial matters and influence collaboration within the organization to secure customer support.
  • Manage the sales funnel by documenting the life cycle of the opportunity in a timely manner and ensuring all opportunities are correctly entered into the sales business system - forecasted and tracked to closure.
  • Effectively manage opportunities via CRM Tool (Salesfore.com), regularly updating and maintaining opportunities under company policy. The ASP is expected to ensure funnel accuracy and attend regular reviews to update management on order intake and forecast opportunities.

What You Bring 

  • Availability to travel and make constant visits to customers
  • 2+ years in Sales/Marketing. Technical sales, preparation of commercial proposals, strategic sales and marketing planning, product characteristics, and customer specifications.
  • University degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
