A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager in Iraq, you will be responsible for front ending all the Control and Digital I&C and Electrical projects and be the first point for contact for the customers. You will have to align internally with experts inside our and other Siemens Energy organizations and towards the customer with regards scope, scheduling, and resources. You will need to understand the needs and requirements of your customers and offer additional projects whenever possible.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Clarifying incoming Project Requests for electrical and I&C scope. You elaborate and quote respective project solutions.
• Responsible for the management of long-term maintenance project contracts (LTP’s) for the electrical and I&C scope (quality, costs, deadlines)
• You are a permanent contact person for the customer with the aim of deepening customer loyalty and generating additional business in project.
• Deal with the controlling and reporting of the project contracts or projects.
• Manage project jobs for e.g. revisions and troubleshooting (electrical and I&C scope). In doing so, you will focus on the aspects of "deployment-related personnel planning". 
• Management of the project experts and those involved in the assignment and cost-controlling and invoicing of the project jobs. 

What You Bring 

• A Bachelor's degree with instrument & control, electrical or industrial process engineering.
• Prior work experience in control technology or electrical engineering, preferably in the turbine or generator area or in adjacent areas of the power plant within the oil & gas industry.
• You have project management experience of small and mid-size projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with DCS Omnivise-T3000
• Knowledge of market analysis and demonstrated success of targeting new business including ability to develop, document, and execute a plan for achieving awards/growth.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with internal and external decision makers, stakeholders, and other interested parties for presenting and selling opportunities, and gaining approvals for opportunities.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present technical information in a way a non-technical person would understand.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Innovative, able to create business value for different stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
