A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Controller within our R&D Project Controlling Team, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation through impactful projects. Your day-to-day will be both dynamic and rewarding, as you work closely with world-class engineers and finance professionals in an international setting. You’ll ensure financial accuracy and compliance, particularly for projects funded by Danish institutions. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support the public funding team during the funding application process by providing essential financial data and transparency on project and resource costs.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting to Danish funding bodies (IFD, EUDP, etc.) to ensure timely funds collection.
- Provide auditors with vital financial funding documentation as per requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date public funding database for R&D-related funds.
- Collaborate with PM(s) and module head(s) for financial planning of project agreements and yearly budgets for selected modules and R&D projects.
- Establish financial controlling structures for R&D projects within selected modules (WBS, PCT, Project orders, etc.).
- Complete monthly deviation analysis (FC vs. ACT) and update forecasts on project and module performance related to internal/external costs, OPEX, CPEX, and hours.
What You Bring
- A degree in Finance, preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a controlling team.
- Basic knowledge of public funds, preferably related to IFD or EUDP.
- Proficiency in Danish, both written and spoken.
- Skills and passion for working with IT tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and SAP.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and a structured approach to your tasks.
- The ability to work independently and represent the Finance function in cross-functional projects.
- An outgoing personality with strong communication and negotiation skills across all organizational levels.
