A Snapshot of Your Day
Develop process engineering fundamentals and pressure relief analysis know-how through hands-on experience with various client projects

How You’ll Make an Impact
Job scopes include but not limited to:
  • Perform process data entry and verification
  • Develop system sketches or relief process flow diagram
  • Perform pressure relief analysis in accordance with international standards such as ASME Sec VIIII, API STD 520 & 521, etc or other best practices and guidelines
  • Perform relief load calculation and relief valve sizing
  • Perform relief simulation for towers, distillation columns, etc using process simulator to calculate the relief load
  • Develop flare network model based on piping isometric
  • Perform hydraulic analysis for flare network using hydraulic simulator
  • Generate findings list and provide mitigation options
  • Prepare study report for submission to the client
  • Lead the execution of a project in the capacity of both technical lead and project manager
  • Support Sales Manager by providing input to proposals, technical and marketing presentations
  • Provide knowledge transfer trainings or trainings related to software to client

What You Bring
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant process engineering design and process safety (pressure relief) experience in the petrochemical / chemical / refinery industry
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive learning attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of process modeling software (Pro II, Aspen HYSYS, etc) and experience in the use of relevant technical computing tools and design tools for hydraulic calculations would be preferred.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety
