As a Primary Team Leader at Siemens Energy, you will lead a talented team of engineers, guiding and motivating them to achieve project targets and deliver high-quality designs in line with IEC/IEEE standards. Your role will involve overseeing substation projects, from layout preparation to civil design activities, ensuring seamless coordination with clients and project management. You will foster a collaborative team culture, encouraging professional development and contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of innovative energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and motivate your team to achieve project goals, ensuring high-quality primary designs for substations.
• Allocate tasks effectively based on priorities, workload, and team capabilities to optimize workflow.
• Oversee the preparation of substation layouts, earthing systems, and lightning protection designs.
• Conduct sizing calculations for MV/HV cables and busbar connections, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with clients and project management to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects.
• Foster a positive team environment, responding to ideas and concerns, and promoting professional growth.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with at least 8 years of experience in the Electricity Transmission and Distribution industry.
• Extensive knowledge of HV Substation design standards and technologies, with a flexible approach to design solutions.
• Proficiency in Auto desk applications, MS Office suite, CYMCAB, and CDEGS software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent command of English.
• Effective problem-solving abilities, capable of working under pressure and meeting critical deadlines.
• Sensitivity and responsiveness to diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious groups, maintaining high personal standards of integrity.
