A Snapshot of Your Day

Your day involves managing and coaching your team to carry out production activities for Gas Turbines and Compressors. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production objectives are met with the highest quality standards. Throughout the day, you develop and implement plant and equipment maintenance programs, and establish best practices for assembly and packaging operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Managing, leading and coaching employees to carry out production activities associated with the Assembly, Packaging & Testing of Gas Turbines and Compressor for Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and associated industries.
• Collaborate within a cross-border & cross-functional matrix organization to achieve clear understanding, implementation and execution of production objectives – achieving required highest Quality standards - on time, on budget, every time.
• Developing Plant & Equipment investment and maintenance programs.
• Developing appropriate tools and fixtures for routine and innovative production activities
• Establishing working practices for the execution of assembly & packaging operations, leveraging industry best practice, including data driven Continuous Improvement, Lean & Agile theory.
• Defining, measuring and improving Production KPIs to ensure transparent understanding of all activities whilst achieving measurable continuous innovation and improvement.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field (mechanical, electrical, or related) from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role within a rotating equipment manufacturing or assembly plant, with at least 10 years of deep knowledge in assembly and packaging activities for rotating equipment.
• Proficient in pipework and structural welding, electrical cable, tray and conduit system assembly, tubing and instrument systems assembly, and ensuring the assembly, alignment, and cleanliness of critical components.
• Strong knowledge of applicable international and industry standards, with proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and CAD software.
• Fluent in English, with a strong preference for Arabic; excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple media and tools.
• Possess a clear and systematic managerial and organizational mindset, with the ability to understand, interpret, and solve problems in complex technical, contractual, and organizational situations, while effectively influencing and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
