Over de functie
- Shape and oversee Siemens Energy’s international project business tax governance in alignment with the global tax strategy, with a strong focus on Permanent Establishment (PE) governance and risk management.
- Act as a strategic advisor, identifying and mitigating tax risks in complex cross-border project environments through clear frameworks, controls, and process oversight.
- Build strong partnerships across Business Areas, corporate functions, regional organizations, and external advisors to ensure tax-compliant international operations.
- Drive the effective use of project-related tax consulting tools to ensure proper tax advisory is embedded in all cross-border activities.
- Contribute to SAP S/4 transformation and digitalization initiatives by aligning system requirements and advancing innovative tax technologies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering continuous improvement, best-practice sharing, training, and a collaborative, forward-thinking tax environment.
- Outstanding academic background in Taxation, Law, Finance, or a related field; German Tax Advisor exam is a strong advantage. Extensive expertise in international tax law, including direct taxes (PE topics), indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and personal taxes.
- Proven mastery of Permanent Establishment (PE) topics, including PE profit determination, ERP implementation, and governance of project-business tax processes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Extensive experience in global tax risk management, including Tax CMS, tax controversy, internal policies, control frameworks, escalation handling, and change management.
- Successful track record in managing complex tax matters in large international project environments, including independent negotiation of tax audits and appeal proceedings up to ministerial level.
- Demonstrated leadership and transformation experience, including building and developing global tax department structures, driving digitalization, and contributing to legislative tax policy statements.
- High digital and system competence, including SAP, Project Tax consulting tools, modern tax technologies; strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; fluent in English and German.
