A Snapshot of Your Day

As an FS Planner, your day begins by reviewing upcoming outage schedules and aligning with internal teams on resource availability. You’ll analyze outage scopes, coordinate with Siemens Energy internal teams – Project Management and Engineering, and update project timelines using MS Project. Midday might involve virtual or in-person meetings with customers to present outage plans and discuss optional work scopes. You’ll liaise with subcontractors to confirm workforce and logistics, and ensure all documentation is in place for upcoming deployments. The day wraps up with reporting progress, updating planning tools, and preparing for the next set of regional or global FS activities—all while balancing priorities in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan and schedule Field Service (FS) activities for outages on rotating equipment (e.g., gas turbines, steam turbines, generators).
  • Analyze contract and coordinate with Siemens Energy internal teams to define work scope and required resources.
  • Develop detailed outage plans, schedule resources, and attend customer meetings to present proposals.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to secure and dispatch resources locally and globally.
  • Support FS operations in Korea and Asia Pacific, including local subcontractor development and performance evaluation.
  • Office-based role with travel to Hwaseong, and customer sites for meetings and outage support.

What You Bring

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a Technical Field; 5+ years in a technical environment. Experience in power generation industry and outage environments is preferred.
  • Experience in project management for construction, commissioning, or maintenance; rotating equipment knowledge is a plus.
  • Skilled in MS Project or similar project management tools; fluent in English and Korean.
  • Strong global attitude with intercultural communication skills; able to work independently in diverse teams.
  • Positive, proactive demeanor with strong prioritization skills in dynamic environments.
  • Must reside in South Korea, hold a valid driver’s license, and have access to a vehicle for site visits.
