A Snapshot of Your Day 

Support the development and future execution and coordination of core operational accounting activities for the Treasury Entity and In- House Bank (IHB) structures, acting as a subject matter expert. Ensure accurate and timely postings, reconciliations and reports in Treasury Management System sub-ledger (Quantum), General Ledger (SAP S/4HANA) and SAP Group Reporting (EPM+), supporting period-end close, financial reporting and internal controls.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Perform and validate reconciliations between sub-ledger, General Ledger and Group Reporting for the Treasury Entity, ensuring accurate reflection of balances and financial instruments
  • Produce and review trial balances, upload data into consolidation systems, and analyse P&L, cash flow and balance sheet reports for accuracy and consistency with plans and budgets
  • Prepare financial analyses and commentary for Treasury Entity results to support management reporting requirements
  • Oversee bank statement and cashflow matching, investigate discrepancies, and manage posting interfaces between Quantum and the General Ledger in coordination with IT
  • Prepare and post manual journal entries, develop booking schemes for automated postings, and monitor IHB sub-ledger data including intercompany clearing and exception management
  • Support regulatory and external reporting (e.g. SAP GRDC), audits, and system/process improvements including S/4HANA transition, while acting as escalation point for junior analysts
What You Bring
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field
  • Extensive experience in accounting, including exposure to Treasury Accounting (derivatives and non-derivatives), bank accounting or intercompany processes
  • Practical experience with SAP FI/CO (S/4HANA or legacy) and treasury management systems; Quantum experience is a strong plus
  • Advanced Excel skills as well as experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI); knowledge of data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake) is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial instrument accounting (IFRS, particularly IFRS 9 and IFRS 18; HGB is a plus) and Treasury risk concepts
  • High attention to detail, structured and reliable working style, ability to handle large data sets and meet closing deadlines, along with excellent English skills (German is a plus)
