A Snapshot of Your Day 

The Engineering Process & Systems Administrator offers strong administrative support to engineering operations, while also improving engineering tools, documentation systems, and lifecycle processes. This role bridges hands-on documentation and data administration with strategic process optimization, multi-functional collaboration, and internal training initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Engineering Documentation & System Support: Manage Master Document Lists (MDLs), oversee Fabasoft CDE documentation workflows, and serve as the main contact for suppliers and engineers regarding documentation and tool support.
  • Tool & Process Training: Deliver onboarding and ongoing training on MDL workflows and Fabasoft CDE usage, and coordinate collaboration setup for suppliers and engineering partners.
  • Process Optimization & Lifecycle Management: Support process execution and improvement across the product lifecycle, contribute to performance tracking, and help define engineering product and tool elements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate coordination across teams, promote knowledge sharing, and support global partner engagement and special initiatives.
  • System & IT Interface: Collaborate with IT to resolve system issues and enhance tool functionality.
  • Data Management & Project Coordination: Collect and manage project-specific metadata in partnership with engineering managers.

What You Bring 

  • Experience in engineering documentation and system support, including using Fabasoft CDE or similar Document Management System, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Experience in training and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong ability to onboard engineers, coach suppliers, and facilitate knowledge sharing across global teams.
  • Experience in process optimization and product lifecycle management, with proven success in driving improvements, supporting performance tracking, and collaborating with IT to enhance tool functionality.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
