Job Title Electrical Lead Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical System Lead Engineer in Innovation Center Shenzhen to be responsible for electrical design of grid connection module, power electronics transformers, power conversion systems, power controllers, high-voltage switchgear, electric heater etc.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Understand the customer needs and translate them in technically and commercially product design requirements.
• According to product design requirements, compare the different options from a techno-commercial point of view in the early phase of the project.
• Determine the overall electrical design scheme, carry out the electrical hardware design and control software design.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE/IEC), safety regulations as well as environmental policies.
• Optimize the design according to the test and experiment to ensure that the electrical performance of the product meets the product design requirements.
• Perform electromagnetic simulation of the products by using commercial software or in-house tools.
• Create drawings of single line diagrams, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and layout etc.
• Develop technical documentation including system designs specifications data sheets, installation manuals etc.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors during component selection procurement processes, support the production of the prototypes and final products.
• Conduct rigorous testing phases for prototypes & final products ensuring they meet required specifications. Support the test-rig installation & operation & automation, instrumentation and site integration.

What You Bring

• Master’s or above degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working within electrical engineering, strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and design experience with MW electric machines (generators, transformers, motors). Understands basics of heat transfer and fluid mechanics is a plus.
• Solid proficiency to perform electrical and thermal calculations in spreadsheets or simulation software. preferred experience with electromagnetic finite element analysis and CAD modeling.
• Proficient in circuit design, schematic diagrams drawings. Familiar with electrical controls.
• Proven track record successfully leading complex engineering projects from conception through implementation delivering tangible results timely manner budget constraints considered.
• Highly developed problem-solving analytical skills paired effective communication abilities both verbal written formats across diverse audience’s cultures.
