Join us as the EHS Manager Senior (f/m/d) for Grid Access, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with EHS regulations while collaborating closely with the Global EHS Head and GT Solutions leadership. Imagine leading the charge in shaping and executing the Zero Harm strategy across large-scale offshore projects worldwide, including HVDC offshore converter platforms and onshore converter stations. You will provide essential EHS leadership throughout all project phases, ensuring safe operations and effective risk management while fostering collaboration within your team and across project interfaces. By promoting a proactive EHS culture and implementing robust frameworks aligned with Siemens Energy objectives, you will drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction. Your leadership will not only ensure regulatory compliance but also empower your team through coaching and mentorship, cultivating a high-performing, safety-focused workforce.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and expert EHS support to Business Area management teams across Grid Access globally, while championing the Zero Harm culture and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHA standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering ownership, trust, and continuous learning, while engaging employees at all levels to promote proactive risk management through clear communication and effective coaching
  • Maintain close collaboration with GT stakeholders, project managers, and site managers to ensure seamless project execution and establish regular liaison with customers, suppliers, authorities, regulators, and the global EHS team to enhance stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure accurate EHS input for bids and tenders, secure appropriate staffing for projects, and implement a comprehensive training program that meets all EHS-related requirements
  • Investigate and document all incidents, define corrective measures, and promote best practice sharing to capture lessons learned, while analyzing safety statistics to identify trends and implement preventive measures
  • Support succession planning and individual development plans for your team to ensure they are equipped for future challenges and long-term success
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, operations management or vocational training / technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial fields with long-term experience
  • Extensive years of relevant professional experience in service, construction, or project environments - onshore and offshore
  • Proven leadership experience in EHS or related functions within industrial or construction environments, including experience leading teams or supervising construction/service activities with responsibility for safety, coordination, or work permits
  • Relevant certifications in safety and environmental protection (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor) and strong expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and risk management, with hands-on experience in large-scale, international, or cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams, fostering engagement and collaboration while maintaining excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
  • Fluent English and German skills; other languages are welcome. Flexibility to travel is also required
