A Snapshot of Your Day

We have an important new position in Siemens Energy. Here, as part of the PMO team your primary task will be to support our Business with the execution of substation projects for large offshore Windfarm, PtX and energy transmission sector by creating business, project and portfolio reporting dashboards in Power BI.

In addition to serving the Danish energy market, Siemens Energy in Denmark houses our global competence center for deliveries of complete offshore high-voltage systems that make it possible to connect offshore wind farms to the onshore transmission system. Our customers are international and are typically the owners of offshore wind farms, shipyards/fabricators or EPCs that supply complete offshore substations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will have a meaningful role in our business within offshore wind and energy transmission sector. Your involvement in the project is through the entire maturing and execution phase by collecting and analyze the different data.

Your main internal collaborators will be Project Managers, Information Managers, Planners, Contract Managers, Procurement Team, Engineers and Finance Team who are either located in Denmark or globally in different Siemens Energy entities. You will be part of our Project Management Office & Quality (PMO & Q).

Focus areas

• Set up dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI to analyze the business and projects data KPI’s.
• Understanding of relevant energy infrastructure business KPIs.
• Work closely with project teams to understand their data needs and convey insights that advise strategy and decision-making by reports and visual presentation.
• Integrate data from various sources to provide a comprehensive view of business performance.
• Deliver training and support to team members in using data analysis tools and understanding reports.

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Business/Data Science, IT or related disciplines.
• Proven track record as an analyst specializing in large scale projects.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• 3 –5 years proven experience as data analyst.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds. Proficiency in the English language is required, and additional language skills are a plus.

High integrity, team spirit, and a proactive approach to engaging with and supporting others are also important qualities.
