About the Team

The Component Manufacturing Engineering team supports component manufacture for Siemens Energy’s aero-derivative gas turbines (AGT). The team collaborates with colleagues, partners, and suppliers to provide technical support and engineering advice. They underpin supply chain operations, reactivation, and strategic supply chain activities to keep parts flowing reliably for the AGT fleet. The team helps suppliers meet part and process qualification (PPQ) and engineering requirements for safety-critical or sensitive components. They facilitate process validation through Method Verification Approval and offer guidance on special processes and inspection techniques. Working as part of integrated product teams, they partner with procurement and buyers to enable informed sourcing decisions. Across the supplier network, they champion a culture of safety and compliance.
