In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial management of contracts and projects, with a primary focus on project execution. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Sales, Finance, Project Management, and factories, and report directly to the Head of CPMs in Finland & Baltic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial and Financial Planning: Conduct comprehensive commercial and financial planning, reporting, monitoring, and controlling of Grid Solutions projects.
  • Order and Structure Management: Build and manage sales orders and work breakdown structures (WBS).
  • Invoicing and Payments: Handle invoicing processes and ensure timely payment checks.
  • Logistics and Financial Guarantees: Coordinate logistics and manage financial guarantees and import duties as per project requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution within budget and time constraints, including indexation.
  • Financial Oversight: Maintain project calculations, reporting, and FCF forecasts to ensure the financial success of projects.
  • Documentation and Meetings: Prepare commercial documentation for regular project status meetings proactively and dynamically.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation strategies when vital.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording in appropriate systems like SAP, and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy commercial and financial guidelines and local GAAP requirements.
  • Collaborator Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers to ensure happiness and manage any changes to the project scope..
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in the bid process, including credit checks, preparing commercial offers, and conducting risk assessments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including other CPMs in Finland & Baltic and Nordics, to address and resolve commercial and contractual issues.

What You Bring:

  •  Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification is a plus.
  •  Proven experience (3-5 years) in commercial project management.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in financial project management software and tools, such as SAP and MS Office.
  • Excellent negotiation, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Proactive and multifaceted approach to work.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in Lithuanian and English, both spoken and written.
  •  Willingness to travel if required.
