A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Claim Manager (f/m/d) you will provide professional and proactive support to the sales and project management in the definition and execution of international customer contracts while safeguarding contractual and legal rights and claims. You will conduct contract readings with the project teams to find opportunities and risks of new projects. If necessary, you will create a project-related claim strategy together with the Project Manager. Your tasks will include an assessment of operational risks, in particular taking into account internal approval processes and identifying risk minimization measures. You will support the legal counsel in the preparation of argumentation and evidence in contentious and non-contentious proceedings. You will offer regularly small training modules and lessons learned modules for Contract and Claim Management to your colleagues.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Stabilizing and/or improving the project result by securing our contractual and legal rights and entitlements
- Identification of opportunities and risks of new projects
- Development of a project-related claim strategy, considering cultural differences, together with the project manager
- Active feedback of project experience to international sales and quotation teams in the course of continuous improvement (lessons learned)
- Maintaining the interface between project management, sales and legal counsel.
What You Bring
- Successfully completed law or economics/technical university studies
- Experience in the preparation of contracts, offers and legal documents is an advantage
- Knowledge of contract law is an advantage
- Knowledge and practical experience in project management or project sales is an advantage
- Alternatively, we give young talents with less experience but an affinity for contract law the chance to familiarize themselves with the topics
- Solid knowledge of German and English
