- Conduct risk-based internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes.
- Support the development and execution of audit plans, including scoping, testing, and documentation, to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry methodologies
- Be an outstanding contributor within a team of internal auditors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality audit execution and timely completion of audit projects.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by various business units
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting, finance, or business (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA or other applicable certification with experience with IFRS and FRG preferred)
- Several years professional experience within a BIG4 or NEXT10 audit firm in Risk/Internal Control Advisory or Financial Audit; candidates with a strong background in engineering-related project execution, accounting and/or internal control policies will be considered
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all management levels, with fluency in English (spoken and written), incl. German is preferred
- Solid understanding of Data Science and/or Data Analytics tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx etc.)
- Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to travel globally up to 50%
