A Snapshot of Your Day

Sourcing and operational procurement of project-related direct materials and services for the GCO new unit construction project and Service business.  Implement commodity strategies, plan negotiations, define awarding approaches, and prepare sourcing board approvals, while handling purchase order tracking and expediting to ensure cost-efficient material supply aligned with demand. Engage with internal and external stakeholders professionally, address requests promptly with high quality, and drive process optimizations like MOQ adjustments or PO bundling, alongside generating savings measures and monitoring relevant KPIs. Additionally, manage contracts, identify procurement risks/opportunities, and facilitate early supplier involvement to support cost-out activities.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Work for SE GS C (including GCO new unit construction project and Service business) procurement activities
  • Procurement activities include project related direct material or service, both sourcing and operational procurement.
  • Implements Commodity Strategies and defines local material field strategy for non-pooled commodities
  • Plans negotiations, defines awarding strategy and prepares sourcing board approvals upon request
  • Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in accordance with demand
  • Demonstrates strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner with high quality standards
  • Communicates efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively seeks process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.g. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)
  • Generates, documents and implements savings measures; monitors and reports relevant KPI
  • Drives early procurement / supplier involvement and cost-out activities
  • Identifies procurement risks and opportunities and implement respective measures
  • Contract management


What You Bring  

  • Professional experience on SCM and familiar with ERP system operation like SAP or similar
  • Bachelor or MBA in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Proved sourcing capability, middle level negotiation skill or above
  • Experience in local Power Generation industry, understand local supply market
  • Good communication skill, strong teamwork spirit.
  • Fluent English spoken and writing
  • Can-do attitude and can work under pressure.
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours and duties
  • Quick learner
