A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Tender Specialist (f/m/d) – Commissioning HVDC, you will add value by preparing tender documents, plans and cost calculations for HVDC commissioning activities for our global projects. You will support the Bid Construction Manager in providing competitive pricing for your project and participate in technical clarifications with our clients, contractors and other stakeholders. You will participate in Quality Gates and present your cost and risk calculation to management. Once the project has been awarded, you will complete your work in the execution phase by updating the tender documents with the latest engineering data and project schedule and supporting our on-site team during the execution of the project.
As part of the Project Entity team, we serve all business areas, including Grid Technologies, Gas Services and Transformation of Industries. This unique structure offers continuous development opportunities across the different technologies and products in our portfolio. You will make an active contribution to the energy transition by supporting the successful delivery of our projects to our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Bring in fresh ideas preparing competitive cost calculations for the Commissioning scope to continue our growth story
- Continuously improve existing calculations, templates, considering lessons learned and product development
- Helping to shape internal processes and reduce bureaucracy
- Support the implementation of digital solutions in the tendering processes
What You Bring
- Degree in electrical engineering, power engineering or equivalent, applicants with several years’ practical experience in the field of electrical commissioning are also welcome.
- Ideally first experiences in cost calculation for commissioning works
- Experience in site/commissioning management
- Good intercultural and teamworking skills
- Strong communication skills, result-oriented mindset, ability and willingness to take decisions, planning and organizational skills, initiative and resilience
- Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
