A Snapshot of Your Day
We are currently looking for Non-Destructive Testing specialist who is willing to work on the field. Techniques such as (UT), (RT), (MT), and (ET) are commonly used. These methods allow for the detection of internal and external flaws without causing damage, ensuring the integrity and safety of critical components.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Non-Destructive Testing:

• Conduct and co-ordinate Non-Destructive Testing Perform various NDT methods, including but not limited to ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and eddy current testing in the Field. Use advanced equipment and techniques to identify and assess defects or irregularities in materials and structures.
• Interpretation of Results: Analyze and interpret test results to resolve nature, location, size, and extent of any defects or discontinuities. Provide clear and concise reports detailing findings, recommendations, and potential corrective actions.
• Co-ordinate with other on-site functions and collaborators, local and Headquarter Product Support Engineering on NDT-testing, results and required actions.
• Contractor Co-ordination, development, and quality, Co-ordinate assignments and activities of NDT related subcontractor workforce and communication to the relevant collaborators (PM, Site Management, Tech Support)
• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to external NDT technicians and other relevant personnel. Stay ahead of with advancements in NDT technologies and methodologies through continuous learning.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper calibration, maintenance, and documentation of NDT equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability in testing results. Solve equipment issues and coordinate vital repairs or replacements.
• Safety Compliance: Implement to and promote safety protocols during testing procedures to minimize risks to personnel and property. Stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards related to NDT.

2. Quality Assurance Engineering for FST TH:

• Collaborate with engineering, Field Service, Tooling Facility, PM, and other collaborators to ensure that services provided, products and materials meet industry standards and specifications and take measures to improve quality of services and products where necessary.
• Co-design, develop and implement NDT and quality assurance and control procedures and processes to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of service together with the relevant PCC organizations.
• Collaborate with product development teams to establish quality requirements for new products and services.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure consistency to quality standards.
• Investigate and analyze product or process defects, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Supervise and improve Field Service processes to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, procedures, and reports.
• Maintain qualification data of FSR’s in the relevant database.
• Create, share, and implement quality bulletin process in TH and AP for SGT-800
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials, data and personnel meet quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training to FS team on quality-related matters.
• Participate in multi-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers support to address and resolve quality-related issues.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical Engineering
• Have relevant NDT certified.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in inspection of assets and NDT
• Able to perform interpretation and analysis if inspection data, using advanced computer software and data-analytics applications.
