A Snapshot of Your Day
You’ll drive digitalization topics and projects within our TaxIntelligence team for Function Taxes in Siemens Energy. In a typical day, you would be in touch with key stakeholders to understand requirements, brainstorm solutions with colleagues, discuss implementation with developers as well as strategize roadmaps to drive efficiency in the Function Taxes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide support (functional not technical) for SAP systems related to tax.
- Assist with the implementation and customization of SAP modules.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
- Maintain and update SAP documentation and user guides.
- Support within digital projects.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Also, as a student job part time possible.
- 2-5 years of experience in SAP support or consulting, with a proven track record of resolving SAP-related issues and providing user support, preferably in the tax or finance sector.
- Knowledge of SAP core modules relevant to tax and finance (e.g., SAP FI, CO, SD, MM, Master Data) and additional SAP tax solutions (e.g., SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, SAP Tax Compliance, VERTEX), with proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.
- Understanding of business processes in the tax and finance domains, with certification in SAP modules (e.g., official SAP FI certifications) considered a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain excellent communication.
- Proven teamwork and collaboration skills, with experience interfacing with different departments and an excellent command of English.
