Siemens Energy is looking for SAP FICO Application Analyst, to join a team of highly experienced IT professionals supporting the company's aim to shape the future of the energy market. This position provides global consulting and governance for Controlling and Finance processes in the Siemens Energy ERP systems. You will be adding value by driving process standardization and harmonization as part of S/4 HANA project. Additionally, you will also be working with an IT solution provider for various ECC6 system, making sure that business is running smoothly, and all issues/change requests are handled appropriately.

The position reports to the lead of the FICO chapter which is part of the SCM value center.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience in global governance, global demand management & business support for IT-integrated business processes.
• At least 5+ years of experience in business process design in finance (FI) and controlling (CO).
• Knowledge of relevant SAP and S/4 HANA in area of Finance with AR/AP/GL/AA, COPA, Cost center & Profit center controlling
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in German Language is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting principles IFRS, GAAP is a plus
• Project management experience (scheduling, quality control, change communication).
• 10 – 20% business travel (domestic & international).
• Implementation experience with multi-national company is preferred

Your responsibilities

·       Development of new process solutions together with representatives of Business Units, Segments, and IT.

·       Global demand management, process consulting & business support for the ERP systems.

·       Partner with key business contacts to create requirements and functional specifications for complex SAP developments.

·       Develop test cases and manage test activities.

·       Perform IT Project Management duties for small-to-medium projects.

·       Oversee IT provider for application maintenance and change requests

·       Collaboration with other application teams, Basis & Security teams, and the Service Desk team.
