A Snapshot of Your Day:
You will be part of a global Finance & Controlling team, working closely together with our IT Managers for Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Partner with IT Management and the respective finance stakeholders to provide transparency on IT cost
- Drive Budget and Forecast planning for IT Services and IT projects on a global level
- Perform variance analysis on ACT, planning and targets
- Assure financial closing cycles meet expectations in quality
- Enable fact-based decisions by providing transparency and financial guidance to the IT counterparts
- Identify significant financial improvement potential and facilitate related decisions to drive cost optimization
- Drive process optimization and digitalization / automation
- Work closely with IT Project Managers and Service Owners and foster continuous improvements to increase accuracy and transparency
- Be part of and drive strategic projects within the area of IT Controlling
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field
* Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in projects environment, no specific IT background
* 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
* Very good knowledge of Controlling instruments and understanding of accounting principles
* Result orientated with a high degree of customer orientation and a business partner mindset
* Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
* Advanced user skills in SAP and MS Office. Knowledge in other BI tools (e.g. tableau) are a plus
* Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in projects environment, no specific IT background
